Choosing a Roof For a New Home

When building a new home the most exciting part is usually designing your kitchen, bathrooms and choosing wall colors. Home owners usually don’t get so enthusiastic when choosing a roof for a new home though! Think about it – the roof is your home’s best protection from the elements and should be top priority. We always recommend our favorite and most popular roofing shingles – GAF’s Timberline Series Lifetime Roofing Shingles.  GAF offers a vast selection of architectural and designer shingles in a variety of colors and blends to choose from. It’s important to choose the roof color based on a full roof sample as opposed to a small roof swatch. That way, you can compare the roof color to the siding color to find the best fit for your home.
